behind anima
I´m Magdalena, and I created Anima as a space where women can inspire one another through movement and conversation.
I've always been inspired by the women around me. My friends, family, teachers, and the people I've met continue to remind me how much women create, build, overcome, and contribute. For me, women are an incredible force, and Anima grew from wanting to share their stories while creating opportunities for women to connect and inspire one another.
I'm based in Amsterdam and spend my time between Amsterdam, Vienna, and Berlin. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and am currently finishing my Master's degrees in Sport Psychology and Psychological Training & Development. I'm a certified contemporary Pilates teacher and I'm currently pursuing an education in physiotherapy.
Together, these fields continue to shape the way I approach movement .
I love combining the principles of contemporary Pilates with ideas from psychology and physiotherapy to create classes that are both challenging and intentional. For me, movement isn't just about exercise, it's about understanding your body, building confidence, and enjoying the process of getting stronger.
Anima is where these interests come together. Through Anima Sessions, I hope you'll discover women whose stories stay with you. Through movement, I hope you'll leave feeling stronger and more connected to your body.
